Estimates and Quotes
The prices shown on the website are guide prices. Every instrument and repair job is different, and we can provide a more accurate estimate once we have inspected the instrument in person. Quotes are based on the time required and any parts or materials needed. Once we have agreed on an initial price for the work, we will never exceed that quote or carry out extra work without first speaking with you and obtaining your approval.
Beyond Economical Repair
If an instrument is found to be beyond economical repair, or if it is unlikely to safely withstand the work long-term, we will advise you of this before any work is undertaken.
Payment
Payment is required in full before the instrument can be collected or returned. We accept bank transfers or cash.
Guarantees
We provide a 3-month guarantee on work carried out as part of the job. This guarantee excludes completely new issues that arise after the repair, or any careless or malicious damage.
Collection and Delivery
We prefer instruments to be collected in person so you can inspect and play them, allowing us to make any final adjustments if needed. Local delivery or courier shipping can be arranged for an additional charge, which includes professional packing, tracking, and insurance.
