Communication and Marketing

We may contact you by email, telephone or text message regarding the progress of your repair or service. We may also send photographs or videos relating to the work on your instrument.
From time to time, we may use photographs or videos of repair work on our website or social media pages to showcase examples of what we do. No personal information will ever be included unless you choose to provide a review or comment alongside it.

Terms of Business
Payment is required in full before the instrument can be collected. We accept cash, debit/credit card payments via PayPal, bank transfer or cheque.

We provide a 3‑month guarantee on work carried out as part of the job. This guarantee excludes new issues that arise after the repair or any careless or malicious damage. We will always advise you if a repair will not restore the instrument to “as new” condition or if the instrument is unlikely to withstand the work long‑term. If the instrument is beyond economical repair, we will let you know before any work is undertaken.

We prefer instruments to be collected in person so you can inspect and play them, and we can make any final adjustments if needed. Delivery can be arranged locally or via courier for an additional charge, which includes packing, tracking and insurance.

The prices shown on the website are guide prices. Every job is different, and we can provide a more accurate estimate once we have inspected it. Quotes are based on the time required and any parts or materials needed. If we encounter an unforeseen issue that increases the cost, we will contact you before continuing.

We will also give you an estimated turnaround time. This depends on our current workload and whether we need to order any parts that are not in stock.
